Located off Gratiot in downtown Merrill, MI. Merrill Daily welcomes walk in visitors and apointments made by phones.
The closest medical or health service is 15 miles away from the village of Merrill. This can seem like an overwhelming distance to someone who does not have a car, or does not have money to spend on gas money as well as a check up. The ratio of physicians also is greatly out numbered by the amount of people who are treated by them, resulting in subpar service.
A sun was chosen to represent the health center because it focuses on daily health, and the sun represents a daily cycle. It also makes for a warm invironment which is important in a small town business.
The chosen colors were inspired by the images that I found to represent Merrill. Many were landscapes that went from bright blues to warm oranges. It also connected back the sun and the cycle of colors in the sky during the day.
A big part of a health service is correspondance to the individuals coming in for a checkup and to make sure to follow up afterwards.
